Cinema under the stars, in the parks of Sector 6. Watch movies from the boat, on the lake in Drumul Taberei!

Good news for movie lovers of all ages! Between August 14-27, 2023, two parks in Sector 6 will be transformed into open-air cinemas. "Cinema under the Stars" begins! The movie marathon starts on Monday, in Drumul Taberei Park. The big surprise is that next weekend, the movies can be seen from the lake, from boats and pedal boats.

Like every year, on beautiful summer evenings, the City Hall of Sector 6 organizes "Cinema under the Stars" – an open-air cinema with free access. It takes place over a period of two weeks: the first in Drumul Taberei Park, the second in Crângasi Park.

Every evening, from 8:30 p.m., a film is shown. 
There will be productions of all genres, for all tastes and ages, from animation, science fiction, to comedies, adventure, action.   

On Monday, August 14, the event will start at the amphitheater in Drumul Taberei Park, and between August 18-20, the films can be seen from a boat on the lake. The 25-30 boats will be offered free of charge to the first people who come to the pier. Access to the lake is one hour before the start of the film. Those who will not catch a boat will have at their disposal, also free of charge, 100 colorful puffs, placed on land. Or they can bring their own blanket from home. The big screen at the amphitheater will be positioned, this time, facing the lake.

From August 21 to 27, starting at the same time, "Cinema under the Stars" moves to Crângasi Park. Here, the films are watched from the 200 seats made available.
